Sustainability is at the forefront of our minds here at Maidstone Studios and we are working closely with BAFTA ALBERT, to become carbon net zero.

• All our energy comes from 100 per cent renewable sources
• Our lighting uses efficient LED’s on a PIR system
• We have an intelligent BMS system within Studio 1 and 2 which is dependent on the ambient outside temperature.  This automatically uses a mix of fresh and chilled air to achieve the required internal temperature, meaning as little energy as possible is used to cool each studio
• Our restaurant food is locally sourced where possible.
• We use a sustainable zero to landfill waste management company
• We encourage cycling to work and have several bike racks
• Talk to the team to recommend local electric mini bus and taxi hire
• We have a heat recovery process that uses re-claimed energy from the  data centre to reheat various areas onsite.
• Mental health first aiders
• Mental health trails are available in the adjoining 74 acre nature reserve
